Fiesta de libros are bilingual literacy clubs hosted at different schools and participant housing sites. This program was created to bring joy to reading through books and fun activities.

Vamos’ partners with Burlington-Edison School District’s GEAR UP program (a college readiness program) to provide outdoor activities and academic mentorship to GEAR UP students at Burlington-Edison High School. This partnership grew in 2020, in response to student isolation from school activities due to COVID-19. Since then, Vamos has continued to provide outdoor activities to GEAR UP youth with the support of local outdoor and educational partner organizations. Activities include swimming, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, hiking, snowboarding, river rafting, frisbee golf and other outdoor leadership games, stewardship, and ecological learning opportunities.
