There’s a Place for You Here.
Everyone deserves the chance to connect with nature, find community, and discover what’s possible when we come together.
At Vamos Outdoors Project, we offer free outdoor programs and community resources for recently arrived Latine youth and families across Whatcom and Skagit counties. Every experience is more than an activity. It’s an opportunity to build confidence, form meaningful connections, and discover new possibilities while finding a sense of belonging in the place they now call home.
Because when people feel welcomed, supported, and connected, they can truly thrive.
This is what Community in Action looks like.
Let’s connect!
Every meaningful connection starts with a conversation.
We’d love to hear what matters to you and share what makes Vamos special. Schedule a relaxed, no-pressure conversation with Walter Topete (Development Lead) to discover how you can be part of our community.
